The Heart Behind Mitten Home Infusion
Mitten Home Infusion: Nurse On Demand™ was born from both a vision and a journey—shaped by over 25 years of clinical experience, a deeply personal path of healing, and unwavering faith. Our mission, and even our logo, reflect this calling: to bring comfort, connection, and high-quality infusion care directly into the homes of Michigan families.
After facing cancer and walking through a transformative healing journey, I experienced a moment of profound spiritual clarity. During a quiet time in prayer, I received a vision of Jesus’ hands holding my heart—but unable to fully embrace it because something artificial stood in the way. The message was clear: to be fully held and truly whole, I had to release anything that wasn’t authentic. That vision marked a turning point. It sparked a renewed sense of purpose and ultimately inspired the creation of Mitten Home Infusion. I launched a company designed to meet patients where they are—physically and emotionally. Our goal is to provide skilled, compassionate infusion care in the comfort and peace of home, helping people heal beyond the walls of hospitals and infusion centers.
This work is deeply personal. Every patient we serve is a reminder that healing happens best in a space built on trust, dignity, and compassion. Our approach goes beyond medicine—it’s about showing up with heart, listening with intention, and caring with purpose. Meet Chantel RN, BSN
Founder, Mitten Home Infusion: Nurse On Demand™
With more than 25 years of nursing experience, Chantel brings a specialized focus in emergency medicine and infusion care to every patient encounter. She earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Health Science and Nursing from Grand Valley State University in 2001 and spent 16 years serving in a Level 1 Trauma Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Over the years, Chantel has worked in more than 14 Emergency Departments across Michigan, California, and Florida—gaining broad clinical expertise and a deep understanding of acute care. In 2002, she also served as an auxiliary crew member with a local air ambulance, further expanding her emergency response capabilities.
Since 2005, Chantel has been a member of a national specialty pharmacy’s IVIG home infusion team, delivering expert, compassionate care to patients across Michigan. She is a proud and active member of the Infusion Nurses Society and remains dedicated to advancing home-based infusion and pain management services throughout the state.
A cancer survivor herself, Chantel brings not only clinical expertise but also personal insight and deep empathy to her practice. Her own healing journey has reinforced her belief that true healing happens best in spaces built on trust, dignity, and compassion.
These diverse experiences led Chantel to launch Mitten Home Infusion: Nurse On Demand™—a company dedicated to providing high-quality, home-based infusion care for patients across Michigan. Her mission is to meet patients where they are, physically and emotionally, while delivering skilled care in the comfort and privacy of home.
Outside of her professional role, Chantel enjoys gardening, traveling, walking her dogs, and supporting her three children at their sporting events.

About
Kelli is a dedicated RN with a BSN from Grand Valley State University (2019). With over 15 years in healthcare—starting as a phlebotomist—she has a strong foundation in patient-centered IV care. She’s worked in emergency and pain clinic settings for the past 6 years, delivering high-quality care and building trusted relationships.
Kelli is passionate about helping patients achieve physical and emotional well-being. Outside of work, she enjoys family time, being an aunt, and staying strong through weightlifting.
About
With over 20 years in nursing, Phaedra started in Labor & Delivery and expanded into Interventional Radiology and Emergency Medicine. Most of her career has been spent in Emergency Departments, where she honed her expertise across nursing disciplines.
Phaedra brings empathy, experience, and a goal to always leave her patients better than she found them. She enjoys traveling, walking, and being home with her husband and two daughters.
About
Madeline RN, BSN is a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with a background rooted in emergency medicine and a growing focus on integrative wellness. A proud graduate of Ferris State University’s Nursing program and former collegiate athlete, Madeline brings a unique blend of discipline, empathy, and clinical sharpness to her role.
She spent the early part of her career in a high-acuity emergency department, where she developed strong critical thinking skills and the ability to care for patients during their most vulnerable moments. Today, she continues that commitment through her work at Mitten Home Infusion, where she provides in-home electroanalgesia therapy for chronic pain and delivers nutritional IV treatments designed to restore balance and enhance healing.
Madeline’s approach to care is deeply personal. She believes in treating each patient as if they were her own family—because to her, relationships and trust are just as important as medical expertise. She is passionate about helping people live healthier, more energized lives.
When she’s not working, you’ll find Madeline weightlifting, enjoying the outdoors, or taking long walks with her husband. Together, they love to travel and explore new cultures, and she draws inspiration from those experiences to bring greater depth and connection to her patient care.
